Three months ago, the talented Naeto C returned from his self-imposed hiatus with an impressive bang. The rapper (and occasional singer) collaborated with Ghanaian heavyweight, Sarkodie, on the first jam we’ve had from him in way too long: “Kill’N Me Softly”.
Now, Naeto C has finally dropped a music video, which should get a lot more eyes on the impressive track that has been largely and confusingly ignored since its release.
Produced by Masterkraft (who can’t seem to stop creating bangers), “Kill’N Me Softly” finds Naeto C hopping on the Ghana-inspired music train and riding it with all the mastery he has displayed in the past.
The song, which is about an all-consuming love, also makes perfect use of the relentless Sarkodie. The rapper, who has been on an epic roll this year, continues his brilliant streak of impressive features on Nigerian tracks.
The music video, which was directed by Mex Films, follows Naeto C as he tries to get over his ex. While he meets a beautiful woman at his hotel, he isn’t able to move forward with her because he is still hung up on the woman he left behind.
