Kenyan super and multi-talented singer, songwriter and performer well-known by his stag name as Nyashinski has spoken out concerning his forth-coming studio album which was due to drop mid 2017.
After dropping hits like Mungu Pekee, the hit that took media by storm despite it being a gospel song and Malaika, Aminia and of-courses the hit the he featured the Nigerian afrobeat queen Yemi Alade in the remix for Nakupenda.
As November 12th is fast approaching and Nyashiski is having bruising battle for MTV EMA Best African Act-award that pitted him against Nigeria’s heavyweights Wizkid and Davido, South Africa’s golden generation front runners Nasty C , Babes Wadumo and multi – award winner C4 Pedro from Angola.
During the special screening of his feature episode on Coke Studio 2017 hosted at Kiza Lounge – speaking to The Hump Show host Barak Jacuzzi.
Nyashiski confirmed that he’s not dropping an album this year ruling out the quiet debate that was already raging on whether he’d crown such a successful year with a project.
” My album is coming out early next year. I’m gonna do one more, one or two songs, at least, lemme say at least one more song.”
